We own a condominium apartment, situated on the beachfront at the Ilikai Hotel, 1777 Ala Moana Boulevard, Waikiki 96815, HAWAII, featuring sea and lagoon views. This is available for short or long term rent.
The Ilikai, made famous from the opening credits from the 1960's TV hit series "Hawaii Five O," (see youtube clip) is located between the Hilton Hawaiian Village and the Ala Wai Yacht Harbour, It is one of only two true oceanfront condominium hotels on Wakiki Beach.
Over the years many famous people have stayed at the Ilikai including US Presidents, famous athletes, Elvis Presley, Lucille Ball, Dolly Parton, Mickey Mantle and Henry Winkler.
Our apartment is located on the 15th floor and features a large lanai (balcony), separate double bedroom, a full kitchen and at 620 square feet (including lanai) offers more space and comfort than standard hotel rooms. There are lovely sea views over the lagoon and Pacific Ocean. You get a grandstand view of the spectacular fireworks display each Friday night.

Situated on the bus route at the gateway to Waikiki the Ilikai is conveniently located a short
walk from the famous Ala Moana Shopping Center, Ala Moana Beach Park, Honolulu
Convention Center and all the other well known Wakiki Beach attractions. It is
ten minutes drive from downtown Honolulu and Aloha Tower Marketplace, the
International Market Place, Honolulu Zoo, and the Waikiki Aquarium. The hotel
beach walkway leads from the lobby to Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon and Waikiki
Beach. Ala Wai Golf Course is three miles away. Honolulu's International Airport is
about 20 minutes away.

The condominium has the following features:
*Cable TV and a 37 inch LCD TV.
*Our apartment is larger (500 square feet interior plus 120 square foot Lanai) and has more features than standard hotel rooms.
*Fully equipped with bedding, towels and linen requirements.
*Laundry facilities are available on each floor to do your own laundry should you wish. Note these are coin operated. (Quarters)
*The apartment is well located in the Ilikai Hotel complex and features views over the lagoon out over the Pacific Ocean. Refer to link.
*Apartment is air-conditioned and being on the cool side of the building is comfortable all year round.
*Bus stop immediately outside. Buses are an affordable and quick way to get around the Island! For routes, fares etc click here
The Bus .*Short walk to the 50 acre Ala Moana shopping center with over 290 shops including Sears, Macy's and a large food-court and a short distance to Ross Dress for Less, Sam's Club, Wal-Mart and many other shops.
*One of the few hotels that are on the beach - no roads to cross.
*Walking distance to numerous restaurants, diners, entertainment and parks. Airport is 20 minutes and downtown Honolulu a 10 minute drive away.
*Kalakaua Avenue and main street precinct of Waikiki is 10 minutes walk away.
*ABC store McDonalds and other convenience stores across road.
*Free use of Ilikai pool and tennis court.
*Fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, large refrigerator/freezer, cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment. Coffee and tea making facilities.
*Ice maker (on 4th floor)
Please note that we
DO NOT provide daily servicing.Ample bed linen and towels will be available for the duration of your stay. Also note the hotel DOESN'T offer room service to guests.
This apartment is not recommended for small children due to the outside lanai.
